About Us

Hello!

We are Roy and Marisa Banks! We live in the mountains of Brightwood, Virginia and we have been married for almost 40 years.  We have two wonderful children who are married to two incredible people, and have have blessed us with five beautiful grandchildren.  We love spending time with our family and friends and enjoy sipping coffee on our front porch together.

 

We have been in business since 1990.  We started as a paint store, with flooring as a secondary focus.  In 2000, our flooring division began to grow and expand so much that we knew we no longer had time for both. We decided that we truly enjoyed the flooring business, and we began to focus on that solely.  We have flourished and learned so much over the years! Our knowledge of flooring comes directly from experience. Coming into our showroom and working with us is not just about selecting the best flooring. It is also that we enjoy providing the best individualized experience and education for each customer about the products, and helping them choose the best flooring for their lifestyle or business needs.  

 

We truly get to know our customers and do everything in our power to express a sense of trust that we will do the very best we can to make your job easier.

 

In 2023 we added cabinets to our thriving flooring business.  While we are newer at cabinets, we work relentlessly to educate ourselves, to better assist you -- our clients and neighbors. We have surrounded ourselves with some of the best people to help us along this new journey.  Our promise is to take our time and make sure the job is done right! We look forward to meeting and assisting you!
